Where Art meets Engineering

I built technical art and development teams behind the hit game Fall Guys at Mediatonic, a growth story at an independent studio going from 15 people to 200+ at the point of exit and acquisition by Epic Games.

I focus my work on world-building, helping to translate and match artistic intent into beautiful, functional, interactive and immersive worlds which surprise and delight players. I’m a lateral thinker with high-scoring visual perception who can ensure visual language and engineering remain one coherent whole.

Currently at award-winning Nexus Studios and with 20+ years in the industry, I calmly work with co-founders, producers and creative leads with early project ideas which are usually riddled with overwhelm, complexity and uncertainty and transform them into something clear, achievable and exciting.

I strategically partner with studios and know how to move through each stage, designing games and apps which bring a positive, cultural meaning to the world.

I want art and technology to nurture the human spirit rather than be a cause of angst.

Outside of work I love quiet mountain hikes, building Lego and creating models, spending time with my family, and writing and illustrating my own retro-futuristic comic art.
